R. Daryl Smith is an artist / designer whom, amongst other creative projects, has been quietly fermenting his own brand of skateboarding trophies using recycled boards since 1994.

And yes, in his late 30's, he still steps on a board regularly to fling himself bodily round his local skatepark to the horror and disappointment of all concerned.

He is not, as certain search engines may insinuate; a conspiracy fanatic, caster of bronze statues, car salesman, religious musician, or professional American football player.
